Did you know there are some awesome, natural alternatives to harsh chemical cleaners? They are products most of us have around our house but didn't know the items can be used for more than cooking or baking!
We use vinegar, baking soda, cream of tartar, water, and all natural castile soap as a foundation for most of our cleaning products.We do occasionally use Method cleaning products or other eco-friendly cleaning products but strive to use our own products made from a combination of natural products. They include essential oils for an extra power boost in clean!
Essential oils that we use are Lemon, Orange, Lavender, Tea Tree, and Bergamot. Why these oils? Believe it or not, these essential oils not only have great benefits for cleaning, they are derived from plants and are all natural with each kind of oil providing its own special properties.

Lemon Essential Oil:
Powerful essential oil with many benefits. Lemon essentila oil not only acts as a natural bug repellent but it has pwerful antimicrobial agents and can help protect against e. coli and salmonella.
Orange Essential Oil:
Essential oil that has properties to boost immunity. Orange oil kills bacteria and pathogens and is also a natural antibacterial that fights against e. coli and salmonella.
Lavender Essential Oil:
Lavender is a wonderful essential oil that has many diverse benefits. In cleaning, it is a natural disenfectant, antimicrobial, and has a relaxing scent.
Tea Tree Essential Oil:
Tea Tree essential oil is another essential oil that is very powerful and has many benefits. It is antifungal, antibacterial, and antiviral. This essential oil is used to kill and prevent mildew and mold.
Bergamot Essential Oil:
Bergamot essential oil is used for a number of different things however we use it as a bacteria killer and oil with tea tree to help prevent mildew and mold.
